Circular Chess terms & usage

Apple’s standard app license applies. Circular Chess is provided by Steelyard Ventures LLC.

Circular Chess is casual, offline chess against a practice computer or another person sharing your device. Difficulty has no verified Elo rating. The four styles have different rules; this is not tournament software and does not recognize every possible dead position. Each board’s Rules explains its behavior.

Games are saved locally. Starting New Game replaces only the selected style. Deleting the app can remove your saves; there is no developer recovery service.

The app is free, with advertising and no purchases or subscriptions. Banners can appear on Home and every game screen. Regional privacy choices control advertising eligibility and may permit limited ads even when optional consent is declined. No ad interaction or tracking authorization is required to play. The app does not ask for new Apple tracking permission; previous iOS choices still apply. See Privacy for service data handling and available controls.

English and Tamil are available in the same app. Google supplies its own privacy forms, which may use another supported device language. Review the choices in a language you understand. Changing the app language preserves games and reruns advertising checks; it does not withdraw earlier consent.

Help and privacy requests are available through our support website. Third-party notices remain available in the app.
